You're Graduating High School!
First of all, congrats! This is such an exciting milestone to hit, and what better way to celebrate your accomplishments than to document this time in your life for yourself, your family and your friends.
01.
When should I take my senior photos?
Most schools require a yearbook submission for senior photos by September, so I recommend getting your photos taken the summer before your senior year. June-August are optimal as the weather is nice and the colors are vibrant. Most photoshoots will take place about an hour before sunset.
02.
What should I wear?
Please wear whatever makes you most comfortable and whatever best captures you and your style! I offer unlimited outfit changes but recommend staying under 3-4 outfit changes, as they can eat up a lot of the shoot time. I typically recommend at least one formal outfit (e.g. button down and slacks for boys and a nice dress or blouse for girls) and then a more causal option such as jeans, sneakers and a t-shirt.
Feel free to bring anything that highlights your hobbies such as your sports jacket, sports equipment (e.g. football or tennis racket), an instrument, etc.
03.
How should I pose?
I will always be prepared to guide you through poses that are both formal and fun and make sure to capture plenty of candids that capture your personality. If there are specific poses you would like to request, just let me know before our shoot and I can be sure to get those shots as well.
How many photos will I get and how long will it take to get them?
With my 60 minute package, you will receive 50+ edited digital images. Edits take me about 2-3 weeks. If there is a tight deadline for yearbook submissions, I can always get several edited photos to you within a few days.
Can my family join the shoot?
Yes! I absolutely love when siblings and parents join in. I think it's such as special way to capture this time in your life with the people you love most.
Do you offer graduation photos as well?
Yes! For an extra $200, we can include graduation photos around your graduation. Want to include some of your friends in the grad photos? Go for it! Just don't forget to bring those caps and gowns or you college tee.
