So your shoot is coming up...
What Should I Wear?
Think neutral and earth tones- white, beige, brown, olive green, etc. I always recommend mixing some solid colors with some patterned clothing. Clothing with movement like long dresses and skirts always photograph nicely. Please make sure everyone is in closed toe shoes and dressed appropriately for the weather (if very cold-bring some cute blankets!). If you have little girls wearing dresses/skirts please make sure they have bloomers, shorts or tights underneath. Most importantly, dress everyone in something they feel comfortable in!

What Do I Need to Bring?
I recommend bringing a water bottle along and some snacks for your kids for afterwards (please do not plan to give your children snacks during the shoot).
I will provide a blanket for the shoot and have wet wipes, a hair brush and other useful items on hand so don't worry about bringing these. If you have any special requests for props, just let me know ahead of time and we can work something out.
How do I Pose?
Leave the posing to me! If you have specific requests for shots please let me know before the shoot. Otherwise, I will gently guide you through a variety of poses and provide fun prompts throughout the shoot to catch candid, genuine interactions.
